Voice Cracks occur intentionally or unintentionally when the vocal folds move from a TA Dominant production to a breathy CT Dominant production rapidly. When it happens unintentionally, it is usually caused by an imbalance of breath pressure and adduction. Intentionally voice cracks are common in several CCM styles.
