Pitch

Pitch refers to the perceived frequency of a sound, indicating whether it is heard as high or low. It is determined by the fundamental frequency of the sound wave and its harmonics. The fundamental frequency is the main component that defines the pitch, while harmonics are additional frequencies that accompany it. Higher-pitched sounds have higher fundamental frequencies and more widely spaced harmonics, while lower-pitched sounds have lower fundamental frequencies and closer-spaced harmonics.
