Vital Lung Capacity

Vital Lung Capacity (VC) is the maximum amount of air that can be exhaled after inhalation. Vital Lung Capacity varies widely with adults ranging from 3 to 5 liters. Gender, height, body composition, and age are all factors in vital capacity. While a larger vital lung capacity could indicate a singer could phonate for increased duration, singing technique is likely to be more significant.
